Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 4, 2026
We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data. Every Proverant app runs entirely on your device, offline, with no servers, no accounts, and no tracking.
1. Information We Collect
We collect nothing.
Our Apps do not connect to the internet. They do not communicate with any server — ours or anyone else's. Specifically:
- No analytics or telemetry of any kind
- No crash reporting
- No usage tracking or behavioral data
- No advertising identifiers
- No cookies or web-based tracking technologies
- No user accounts, registration, or sign-in
- No email addresses, names, phone numbers, or any personal identifiers
We have no servers that receive data from our Apps. There is nothing to collect because there is no connection.
2. Device Permissions
Certain Apps request limited device permissions to deliver core functionality. These permissions are always requested through standard iOS prompts, and you may decline or revoke them at any time in iOS Settings.
Camera Access
- ScanLens uses the camera for document scanning.
- Contractor Quote Trap uses the camera for job site photography.
In both cases, captured images are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with any external service.
Location Access
- Mileage Tracker uses location services for real-time distance calculation while actively tracking a trip.
Location coordinates are used only for live computation and are never written to disk or stored persistently. When tracking ends, no location history remains. No GPS data is retained, exported, or transmitted.
Biometric Authentication
Some Apps may offer Face ID or Touch ID as a convenience feature for local authentication. Biometric data is processed entirely by iOS system APIs and is never accessible to our Apps. No biometric data is transmitted, stored by us, or leaves the Secure Enclave on your device.
Permissions We Never Request
- Health data (HealthKit) — never accessed
- Contacts — never accessed
- Microphone — never accessed
- Bluetooth — never accessed
- Push notifications — never sent (no server to send them)
3. How Your Data Is Stored
All data you create within our Apps — documents, photos, calculations, records — is stored locally on your device using iOS data protection, which provides encryption at rest.
- Data is stored on your device only.
- Data is excluded from iCloud backup by default.
- We have no ability to access, view, recover, or delete your data because it never leaves your device.
- If you delete an App, all associated data is permanently removed by iOS.
4. Third-Party Services and SDKs
We use none.
Our Apps contain:
- No third-party analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar)
- No advertising frameworks or ad networks
- No third-party crash reporting tools (no Crashlytics, Sentry, or similar)
- No social media SDKs
- No third-party data brokers or data-sharing arrangements
Our Apps are built with Apple's native frameworks only.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We don't share, sell, rent, or disclose personal information to anyone. We don't have any to share.
- We do not sell personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
- We have never sold personal information.
- We have no data-sharing agreements with any entity.
6. Children's Privacy
Our apps don't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. There's no mechanism for it — the apps don't connect to anything.
We comply with COPPA and equivalent international regulations. If you're a parent or guardian with concerns, contact privacy@proverant.com.
7. Your Rights Under CCPA
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected — we collect none.
- Delete personal information — there is nothing to delete on our end.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information — we have never sold and will never sell personal information.
- Non-discrimination — we do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.
Because we collect no personal information, these rights are satisfied by default. If you wish to submit a verifiable consumer request, contact us at privacy@proverant.com.
8. Your Rights Under GDPR
Although our Apps do not collect or process personal data of EU/EEA residents (or anyone), we respect the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Lawful basis: No processing occurs, so no lawful basis is required.
- Data minimization: We collect the absolute minimum — zero.
- Right to access, rectification, erasure, and portability: There is no data held by us to access, correct, erase, or port.
- Data Protection Officer: Not required as we process no personal data.
For any GDPR-related inquiries, contact privacy@proverant.com.
9. International Users
Our apps work the same way everywhere: on your device, with no data transmission. No data crosses borders because no data leaves your phone.
10. Data Security
Your data is protected by:
- iOS Data Protection: All locally stored app data is encrypted at rest using iOS hardware-backed encryption.
- No attack surface: Because our Apps make no network connections, there is no remote attack vector for data exfiltration.
- Security audits: Every Proverant app goes through multiple security reviews before release.
No system is perfectly secure, but ours has a smaller attack surface than most: there's no server to breach and no data in transit to intercept.
11. Data Retention
We retain no data. All app data exists exclusively on your device under your control.
- Data persists as long as the App is installed.
- Deleting the App permanently removes all associated data.
- We cannot recover deleted data because we never had access to it.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and post the revised policy on our website at proverant.com/privacy.
Our core position won't change: your data stays on your device. If we ever build an app that needs network access, it will have its own separate privacy disclosure.
13. Apple App Store
Our Apps are distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's own privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Your use of the App Store, including purchases and downloads, is subject to Apple's terms. We do not receive personal information from Apple about our users.
